Take two handfuls of motivated organizers, 50 volunteers, many daring bands, good contacts, companies with heart and a large portion of fun - that's the recipe for the music marathon on 21.03.2026 at ROXY.

This special charity festival is organized by the association "einsatz - Musik für Menschen in Not e.V.". The organizers were motivated many years ago by the great tsunami catastrophe to do what they love to do and are best at: providing help. Since then, over €200,000 has gone to people in need all over the world. The fact that so much money can be made available is due to the concept of the music marathon: voluntary organization, none of the bands demand a fee, free support from the free economy. The association receives goods from bakeries, breweries, butchers, a REWE branch and other companies, hotels provide beds, media companies support with printing and advertising services, the ROXY premises can be used, security personnel donate themselves, professional sound and lighting technicians provide all the bands every quarter of an hour free of charge. With the exception of a few unavoidable costs, all proceeds from the day can be donated.

The association members decide where to donate the money. Two guidelines apply: the projects must benefit people and there must be personal contacts - this guarantees that the money goes where it is needed.
