Dirty Sound Magnet are a constantly growing musical phenomenon.

With over 500 thrilling shows in Europe, the UK and Mexico, three acclaimed studio albums and an energetic live album, the Swiss band has established itself as an unstoppable force in the rock scene since 2017. Their mesmerizing music and electrifying live performances thrill fans worldwide. Their shows are unpredictable: a mixture of shamanic stage presence, rock star charisma, technical brilliance, poetic vocals and gripping dynamics - expect the unexpected!

The band's roots lie in Fribourg, where Stavros Dzodzos (guitar, vocals), Marco Mottolini (bass, backing vocals) and Maxime Cosandey (drums, backing vocals) devoured countless albums as teenagers and rehearsed with tireless zeal. This passion developed into a way of life - the DSM sound and the DSM philosophy: "There is no plan B."
Dirty Sound Magnet combine the DNA of the "Golden Age of Rock" (60s, 70s) with an innovative, modern twist. Instead of imitating past icons, the band has developed its own unmistakable style. Their music combines the energy and virtuosity of Led Zeppelin, the raw ferocity of Iggy Pop and the mystical depth of The Doors. Contemporary influences such as Tame Impala and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard as well as profound lyrics that reflect the zeitgeist add a unique dimension to their sound.

Festival appearances on renowned stages such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Gurten Festival and Caribana as well as support shows for rock greats such as Wolfmother and Monster Magnet cemented their reputation. During the pandemic-related break in 2020, the band used the time to record "Live Alert", an impressive live session album that showcased their extraordinary improvisational skills and won them new fans worldwide.
