The Knef... Sometimes a life is almost not enough for the force with which it is lived. One person who lived such a life was Hildegard Knef, the internationally successful singer, actress and writer. She conquered Hollywood and Broadway, she provoked the moralists of the post-war era, and she fought for years against her cancer, to which she succumbed at the age of 77. Hildegard Knef knew the great heights of success, but also the darkness and loneliness behind them.
On the eve of Hildegard Knef's 100th birthday, long-time ensemble member Tini Prüfert returns to Theater Ulm for an exclusive performance with her homage to the great artist. She will be accompanied by the renowned Swiss jazz musicians Peter Estermann on piano, Jonas Künzli on double bass and Raphael Woll on drums.
