With these reflective words, we would like to get you in the mood for the Naujahrskonzert 2026. The more carefree may forgive the slightly pensive nature of these words. But in view of the many crises and upheavals on our planet, it is not so easy to always find the appropriate New Year's cheerfulness. And yet Johann Peter Hebel's lines paint such a wonderful picture of confidence and hope.
However, the following can be said with certainty: General Music Director Felix Bender will once again come up with a special mix of musical pieces for the 2026 New Year's Concerts, which we can already look forward to with joy and a certain amount of excitement.
The compilation of melodies and sounds from operas, operettas, film music and musicals will also show great variety in 2026 and inspire different moods in view of the turn of the year: heart-rending cheerfulness and pleasant silliness, quiet pleasure and reflection on the past and what is to come.
