Willi Siber is not afraid of the new, the unknown, of testing and exploring boundaries. He not only plays with visual habits and expectations, but also with the classic genres of painting and sculpture.
For over five decades, the artist has demonstrated enormous imagination, courage and insatiable curiosity in the face of new technical possibilities and developments in form and image creation - be it in filigree grid objects or dynamic steel sculptures, be it in expansive wall objects or relief panel paintings.
Beauty, perfection, sensuality and aesthetics are essential leitmotifs for him.
Whether made of wood, epoxy resin or steel, Willi Siber's works inevitably captivate viewers, fascinate, surprise and create irritating perceptual situations. Shiny work surfaces and reflective textures filter or reflect the light.
The exhibition, developed together with Willi Siber, highlights the work of the renowned artist from Upper Swabia in a comprehensive solo show.
