For our 10th anniversary, we are fulfilling a long-cherished wish to rediscover a classic. Look forward with us to Heyoka's Midsummer Night's Dream - a magical, musical festival spectacle with the large, colorful ensemble.

For us, the stage is a magical place, in the literal sense. There is this special kind of magic that arises from the live experience, from the direct contact between actors and audience. There is always a bit of risk involved, something unpredictable, wild, something that we can neither determine nor predict. A Midsummer Night's Dream celebrates the theater as a magical space. What happens when perception is twisted and changed here? When I suddenly love what I previously feared? When I am suddenly attracted to something that previously repelled me? When what I think no longer matches what I feel? When woman and man, donkey and elf are suddenly one, am I many?

What is normal, what is different, what is crazy? And do we humans really always have the upper hand?

In the end, a colorful new order emerges from the wholesome confusion and turmoil of relationships and feelings, which is blessed by the spirits and celebrated by the audience.
