DOTA is back - with new songs and old lightness. "Springbrunnen" is the name of the new album, whose songs are even more minimalist, even bouncier. The lyrics go even more directly to the heart, are even more devotedly searching and even clearer in their ambiguity. Despite all the developments, Dota Kehr and her four-piece band remain true to their style, as the first single "Einfach zu abgelenkt" (Simply too distracted) makes clear: poetic, socio-critical, clever lyrics, linguistically refined and acrobatic, playing with images, wordplay and ambiguity. Plus fine, acoustic indie pop with lots of guitar and Dota Kehr's distinctive voice: honest, approachable and always catchy!
