How does color become form? When does a surface begin to breathe, a line to vibrate, a grid to come alive? The exhibition "When colors find forms" is dedicated to the fascinating relationship between color, form and space - and impressively shows how surprising dynamics arise from clarity and reduction.
Both selected graphics and important canvas paintings from the Siegfried and Jutta Weishaupt Collection are presented. All participating artists are united by the question of how color and form interact, enhance, irritate or calm each other. They work abstractly and non-representationally in order to devote themselves entirely to this investigation and to make the effect of color and form tangible in its purest form.
"When colors find forms" invites you to take a closer look - and to experience how reduction becomes diversity, order becomes vitality and color becomes form.
