Born in Istanbul, grew up in the Berlin and Munich suburbs, between battle rap and poetry slam, suddenly studied viola in Hanover - and finally ended up in Berlin to make indie pop: YUNUS loves detours. With poetic lyrics, an ear for catchy melodies and a sense of humor that is always a little too serious to be funny, he creates his own universe. Over 200 shows and shout-outs from Felix Lobrecht and others show: Detours pay off. His new EP harmonizes pain, political rage and tender love.

Open Tower 2.0 - art, creativity and exchange
This year, the Kehlturm is once again part of the festival: the open cultural space for creative projects is entering its second round in the Open Tower format. After the successful first test phase, the concept will be developed further this year and this time will even be made available for a longer period of time.
Visitors can expect a diverse mix of interactive installations, exhibitions, open studios, Ulm craftsmanship and scientific formats. Some projects specifically invite active participation - from collaborative design to experimental formats at the interface of art, culture, technology, science and society.
The tower thus becomes a lively place for exchange and encounters that constantly opens up new perspectives. Those who make it to the top are rewarded with a roof terrace with a rooftop bar and a wonderful view over the whole of Ulm.
