Storm the castle 2026 - Day 4
Organiser Kulturabteilung Stadt Ulm:
On the first Family Sunday, the children are not just listeners: they can sing, dance and play along, even on stage. The sound is groovy, the lyrics imaginative and cheeky - even the parents rock along. Whether it's ghosts in the nursery, wiggly teeth or the castle on the beach - the monkey gang's lyrics and melodies hit the right notes for children and parents alike. Because "Andi und die Affenbande" know the life that revolves around grandpas, fairgrounds and their favorite ice cream.

Zudm shows us Annika Dietmann songs like open letters: Annika Dietmann writes about phases of life that we all know. With her guitar and her own voice, she combines honest lyrics with an approachable presence. The winner of the "Young Ulm Art 2025" award in the "Pop" category invites you to pause for a moment together in her concerts, carried by reduced sounds and the power of lively stories.

SCOTT & LILA are an acoustic duo from Chicago and Paris who now live in Berlin. With harmonious vocals, guitar and ukulele, they combine indie folk, blues and jazz to create a warm, modern sound that goes straight to the heart. The two met in 2019 during a spontaneous street music moment in Berlin, which led to an international musical journey. Since then, they have toured Europe, the USA, Asia and South Korea. Their music inspires both live and online, where their authentic street performances have reached a large audience.

Open Tower 2.0 - art, creativity and exchange
This year, the Kehlturm is once again part of the festival: the open cultural space for creative projects is entering its second round in the Open Tower format. Following the successful first test phase, the concept will be developed further this year and this time will even be brought to life over a longer period of time.
Visitors can expect a diverse mix of interactive installations, exhibitions, open studios, Ulm craftsmanship and scientific formats. Some projects specifically invite active participation - from collaborative design to experimental formats at the interface of art, culture, technology, science and society.
The tower thus becomes a lively place for exchange and encounters that constantly opens up new perspectives. Those who make it to the top are rewarded with a roof terrace with a rooftop bar and a wonderful view over the whole of Ulm.
All information about the program, the gastronomic offer and the Open Tower rooms can be found at www.die-wilhelmsburg.de.
