The last family Sunday and thus also the last day of Storm the Castle 2026.

You will be greeted by Jonny Karacho, alias Dominik Scherer. He lets it rip and allows you to "pogo" to children's songs. With a mixture of folk, ska, pop and punk, he creates songs that set a new note in the children's music landscape. Wild, funny, cheeky and loving - that's Jonny Karacho, that's punk rock for kids!

Afterwards, Silvia Liberto takes us into the world of Afro-Latin music. Rooted in Afro-Latin world music, she creates a space in which music becomes a universal language - rhythmic, authentic and passionate. Here, pulsating guitar playing meets percussion and an expressive voice that sings in several languages. Every concert is unique. Directly perceptible, physically tangible and connecting.

In the evening, Isimbi Dee Stürmt closes Burg 2026. She is a singer, songwriter and performer from Kigali, Rwanda. Since 2022, she has released eight singles in Afro-pop and Afro-soul style with emotional storytelling that invites you to dance. Her lyrics deal with current social issues such as dependency, identity and empowerment. Her solo performances are an intimate and explosive mixture of modern Afrobeats and reinterpretations of traditional sounds. She has lived in Germany since 2025.

In Kontiki's wood workshop at the castle, you can make an imaginative animal out of roof battens, string and wooden dowels. We'll help you! If you are younger than seven, mom or dad should be with you. Of course, you can take your work home with you afterwards. Be part of it!

Experience the T-Shirt Lab by international fashion designer Silke Debler. Learn more about the background and effects and get creative: under the designer's guidance, you can create your own unique pieces from used T-shirts.
Material fee from €10 per person. No registration necessary.
Part of the proceeds will go to an environmental organization. Sponsored by the cultural department of the city of Ulm, with the kind support of Corporate Fashion GmbH, Aktion Hoffnung Laupheim collection center and donations of fabric and materials from the public.

Open Tower 2.0 - art, creativity and exchange
This year, the Kehlturm is once again part of the festival: the open cultural space for creative projects is entering its second round in the Open Tower format. Following the successful first test phase, the concept will be further developed this year and this time will even be brought to life over a longer period of time.
Visitors can expect a diverse mix of interactive installations, exhibitions, open studios, Ulm craftsmanship and scientific formats. Some projects specifically invite active participation - from collaborative design to experimental formats at the interface of art, culture, technology, science and society.
The tower thus becomes a lively place for exchange and encounters that constantly opens up new perspectives. Those who make it to the top are rewarded with a roof terrace with a rooftop bar and a wonderful view over the whole of Ulm.
