To mark our 10th anniversary, we’re fulfilling a long-cherished wish to rediscover a classic. Join us in looking forward to Heyoka’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream—an enchanting, musical festive spectacle featuring a large, colorful ensemble.

For us, the stage is a magical place—in the literal sense. There’s a special kind of magic that arises from the live experience, from the direct interaction between actors and audience. There’s always a bit of risk involved—something unpredictable, wild—something we can neither control nor predict. A Midsummer Night’s Dream celebrates the theater as a magical space. What happens when perception is twisted and transformed here? What if I suddenly love what I once feared? What if I’m suddenly drawn to what I previously found repulsive? What if what I think no longer matches what I feel? If a woman and a man, a donkey and an elf are suddenly one—does that mean I am many?!

What is normal, what is different, what is crazy? And do we humans really always have the upper hand?

From the healing chaos and the turmoil of relationships and emotions, a colorful new order ultimately emerges—one blessed by the spirits and celebrated by the audience.
