Between fantasies of omnipotence and childhood traumas, Nikita embarks on a journey through the part of the brain normally reserved for nightmares. He wonders if God might simply be a placeholder for loneliness. Whether faith still works when you’re the only one who believes in it anymore. And whether you’re really still “free” when the car’s navigation system knows more about you than your own mother does.
