For over 20 years, Avatar has been one of the most exciting bands bridging the gap between alternative and melodic death metal. With albums like “Dance Devil Dance” and their latest, “Don’t Go in the Forest,” the Gothenburg-based band combines heavy, intricate metal riffs with grand melodies and catchy choruses. For their German shows in December, Avatar is bringing along the Danish death metal newcomers Neckbreakker, who have already made a name for themselves with their debut “Within the Viscera” and their uncompromising live shows.
