Since 2016, the international forum “Migration Connects” has shaped and enriched the DZM: Together with the museum, this group—composed of both permanent and rotating members with immigrant backgrounds—develops exhibitions, events, and new educational formats, thereby actively contributing to the museum’s work.

Over the past ten years, the participants have repeatedly explored aspects of the culture and history of the Danube Swabians and related them to their own experiences.

The group has carried out eleven projects since its inception. To mark this year’s anniversary, the DZM is presenting a retrospective.
