Ulm’s Metzgerturm is being transformed into a vertical gallery, and the Kunstverein Ulm is opening the Leaning Tower on the Danube, which has been inaccessible for many decades. In his exhibition “Equilibro,” Ulm-born artist Johannes Pfeiffer uses drawings and prints to draw numerous parallels to his rope installation, which four years ago transformed the Metzgerturm—one of Ulm’s major landmarks near the banks of the Danube—into a work of art.
