Event

To kick off the subscription series, Norwegian violinist Ragnhild Hemsing—playing both the violin and the Hardanger fiddle—takes on works by two prominent female composers: the world premiere of Agnes Ida Pettersen’s “Stories” and Anna Clyne’s energetic “Sound and Fury.” The program is rounded out by Bruch’s popular Violin Concerto No. 1 and Mendelssohn’s atmospheric “Scottish Symphony.”
