Rola El-Halabi: nine-time world boxing champion, daughter of a Lebanese family, a resident of Ulm—
and a “tough little fighter.” At the height of her success, the unimaginable happens: “Since
April 1, 2011, the whole world has known me as the world boxing champion whose own stepfather
shot her in the hand, the knee, and both feet.” “THE GIRL WHO ALWAYS GETS BACK UP” is the autobiographical
story of “liberation, love, and getting back on your feet.”
