The Marimba Peace Mass is a musical setting of the Ordinary texts of the Latin Mass. The modern composition and the featured instrument, the marimba, lend the texts a special relevance today. In the foreword, the composer writes: “It was my aim to express the content of the words as well as possible through the musical language.”
The composer, Elke Landenberger, will conduct the performance herself.
