Two rooms in a fortified building constructed for defensive purposes are being converted into an (event) space for art, culture and creativity: whether dance performances, (acoustic) concerts, readings, theatre rehearsals, creative workshops or conferences – the Kulturkasematte is a space that is suitable for a wide variety of uses.

It will initially be rented out to artists, cultural professionals and other socially engaged individuals as part of a two-year trial phase until the end of 2027. The focus is on temporary uses for art, culture and creativity, as well as cultural and social participation.

The kulturkasematte can be rented for regular use (by the hour or by the day) or for individual use (even over several days).
